Our story began in 2012, from the humble home kitchen of our founder, Kim. What started as a personal passion for baking soon grew into something bigger: Small business built on care, creativity, and an insistence on never cutting corners, even as orders grew from a handful of friends to thousands of happy customers across the Klang Valley.

Kim has built a reputation in the industry for delivering delicious, high-quality, bespoke cakes and artisanal desserts. Today, she is recognised as one of the most sought-after cake artists in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Known for bringing each client's vision to life, whether it's a whimsical birthday centrepiece or a memorable corporate event showstopper.

With a new, innovative team and a modern kitchen now in place, Vanilla Pods by Kim's repertoire has grown well beyond novelty and wedding cakes. Our menu today includes a range of other desserts and savoury menus such as Fine Pastries & Mini Desserts, Corporate Snack Boxes, Cake Pops, French Pastries, each made fresh, with the same attention to detail that built our name.

We've also expanded to serve the corporate world, offering snack boxes and savoury pastry spreads for office meetings, annual gatherings, and company events across the Klang Valley — bringing the same quality and care from our celebration cakes to every box we send out.

Every item is baked in a halal-certified, completely pork-free kitchen, so you can enjoy our creations with complete peace of mind.
